Biography

Alyson Hansbarger is a doctoral student in the health policy and health services research program at Temple University. She received her bachelor of science in athletic training from Duquesne University in 2018 and her master of science in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training from Temple University in 2020. She has spent the last four years working as a certified athletic trainer in youth, high school and college sports settings. She also has experience teaching anatomy and physiology at Temple University and Bryn Mawr College. Her research interests include concussion testing, concussion education and access to athletic training services. Alyson also currently serves on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society.
