Biography
Susan Connor, OTD, OTR/L, CCHP is an assistant professor of instruction in the occupational therapy program at Temple University. She completed her bachelor of science and post-professional doctorate in occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Connor brings a deep and rich background in mental health and forensic occupational therapy services to Temple. She regularly presents local and nationally on occupational therapy services in prison. Her doctoral capstone project, Growing Old Behind Bars: Development of a Dementia Training Program for Correction Officers, combined several of her research interests. In 2018, the Philadelphia Region Occupational Therapy Fieldwork Consortium presented Dr. Connor with the Fieldwork Educator of the Year Award in recognition of her commitment to student training and education.
