Biography
Dr. Yanda Lang is an assistant professor of instruction in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He received his PhD in statistics from Western Michigan University in 2021 and his MS in statistics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2017. His research interests are computational statistics and algorithms in nonparametric statistics, meta-analysis and Bayesian inference.
Prior to joining Temple, Dr. Lang was a teaching assistant at Western Michigan University where he served as an instructor on record for Business Statistics and Data Analysis for Biosciences courses. He also worked as a data scientist intern at Soothsayer Analytics in Michigan.
