Unofficial transcripts are considered at the time of applying. Official transcripts are required when accepting the offer at the time of deposit. Official transcripts can be sent to cst.gi@temple.edu.
Submit three letters of recommendation from biology faculty and professionals.
Your statement should be about 500 to 1,000 words in length. Include your specific interest in Temple’s program as well as your research and future career goals and your previous academic and research achievements.
GREs are recommended but not required and could be advantageous for applicants seeking to be awarded a university fellowship. Applicants are encouraged to reach out to prospective thesis advisors or the chair of the graduate program for further information.
A current professional résumé is required.
For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL, IELTS or PTE scores are required. The minimum score for the TOEFL is 90 iBT or 575 PBT.

To be considered for a University Fellowship, applicants should have an essentially complete application on file by Jan. 5. Matriculation in the fall is highly recommended.
