How to Apply
To be considered for admission into the Applied Clinical Research Certificate (Graduate) program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 OR a transcript demonstrating successful completion of a graduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Admissions Process
The admissions process depends on if you are applying as a matriculated or non-matriculated graduate student. Please carefully read the information below to ensure you are following the correct admissions process.
MATRICULATED STUDENTS AND CURRENT TEMPLE FACULTY
For current faculty and graduate students in the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry and Lewis Katz School of Medicine, and current faculty in the College of Public Health, you must complete an Intent to Enroll form through Qualtrics and submit a one-page statement of goals and resume.
For current graduate students in the College of Public Health, contact Aimee J. Palumbo, MPH, PhD, the graduate program director, to apply through our Fast-Track application option.

NON-MATRICULATED STUDENTS
To apply for admission to this graduate certificate if you are not currently a matriculated graduate student or faculty at Temple University, you must submit the following materials via the online application using the SOPHAS Express Centralized Application Service.
- Copies of all transcripts
- One-page statement of goals
- Resume
- Letters of reference (minimum of 2)
Additional Requirements for International Students
You are an international student if you hold or will need to obtain a nonimmigrant visa, a minimum TOEFL score of 79 iBT or 550 PBT is required. A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 would also be considered.
Application Deadline
Applicants may begin this program in the fall, spring or summer term. The application deadline is rolling.
