How to Apply

Students currently matriculated in a graduate program at Temple University can apply using the department’s online form. 

Students not enrolled in a graduate program or enrolled at a program with another university are welcome to apply to the certificate program. External applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 and must submit an external application along with the following documents.

• Letters of Recommendation: Submit two letters of recommendation from professionals who can affirm your academic ability and accomplishments.
• Personal Statement: A personal statement of no more than 250 words, indicating interest and objectives within the field of gender, sexuality and women’s studies.

Admission Deadlines

Applications must be submitted by the end of the add/drop period for either the fall or spring semester.
