Research
Temple students have access to a breadth of information by using Charles Library resources from anywhere. Regardless of their location or discipline, students have access to Charles Library and the Special Collections Research Center on Main Campus.
Temple’s research and scholar programs provide students with a real-world education. Students are encouraged to learn more about Undergraduate Research and Creativity and scholarly research opportunities at Temple. Undergraduate research at Temple involves the creation and communication of new knowledge in collaboration with faculty mentors. Students in our schools and colleges engage in scholarly research, in fields as diverse as bioengineering, global studies, humanities and public relations.
Research Funding
In 2016, the National Science Foundation placed Temple University among the top 100 in terms of research expenditures, which amounted to $242 million. Learn more about the university’s research support efforts.
