Contact the faculty member in your area of interest prior to submitting an application. See a list of core Earth and Environmental Science Department faculty.
Candidates should have taken at least five courses in geology and one year of college-level chemistry, calculus and either physics or biology to prepare for graduate-level classes and instructing undergraduate majors.
Unofficial transcripts are considered at the time of applying. Official transcripts are required when accepting the offer at the time of deposit. Official transcripts can be sent to cst.gi@temple.edu.
Submit two letters from college or university faculty who can speak to your academic competence and research abilities.
Write a statement that articulates your specific interest in the MS program, your research goals, your future career goals, and your academic and research achievements.
For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL is required. The minimum score for the TOEFL is 85 iBT or 620 PBT.

For full consideration, applications must be submitted by the deadline. Late applications may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants should target Fall entry as Spring admission is rare.
