Internships & Opportunities
In addition to taking the required subjects for their degrees, all Piano Pedagogy MM students are obligated to serve in a number of capacities in order to enrich their academic and musical expertise.
Among the duties that may be required are
- accompanying,
- coaching,
- conducting laboratory classes,
- participating in ensembles,
- participating in the distribution and inventory control of Temple University-owned musical instruments and instructional materials,
- performing at admissions and open house events,
- supervising performance classes,
- teaching private lessons, and
- tutoring.

Weekly private lessons are reinforced by regular performance classes and a series of master classes taught by faculty members and guests artists..
