Research & Facilities
The College of Education and Human Development is committed to researching improvements to the learning process for students of all ages in all types educational or training organizations. The college has three research centers and one institute, including the
- Center on Innovations in Learning, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, which assists state educational agencies with adopting new learning strategies that improve educational outcomes; and the
- Institute on Disabilities, a diverse organization funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that is considered a national leader in assistive technology, disability studies, inclusive education, justice for people with disabilities, leadership development and policy analysis.
The college also has departments dedicated to improving educational policy, organization and leadership; instructional strategies; and understanding of the relationship between behavioral health and learning.
