Internships & Opportunities
Engineering undergraduates can participate in summer internships. Most of our interns are offered full-time employment after graduation. Completing an internship often positions you to receive a full-time offer for a more prestigious and satisfying position than the typical entry-level job.
The College of Engineering at Temple has a dedicated industrial relations director committed to building and maintaining longstanding employer relationships. These relationships, and a far-reaching network of alumni generate community outreach, co-op and internship opportunities, job placements, and research collaborations at organizations including
- Amtrak,
- Pennsylvania Department of Transportation,
- PGW,
- Philadelphia School District,
- Philadelphia Water Department,
- Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA),
- Turner Construction and many others.

Co-ops
Consider enhancing your engineering career prospects by completing a co-op assignment. Temple’s co-ops are flexible and entirely optional. A co-op helps you gain invaluable insights and contacts as you work alongside professional engineers. You also graduate with the experience employers look for in job applicants.
